Lateresa — Tesa to most, Tess to Valaciel alone — is Division 2 commander and Valkyrie of Light, the female angel every warrior aspired to be since the 1st Heaven–Hell War. On Present she is pure Angel ArchAngel (divinity #2 in the cast), composed and dry-eyed on duty until February 2010, when Val's unintentional memory restore returns her full Pre-Rewind past and mutual love (feelings) — not together yet.

Witnessed Daniel's wing rip; did not intervene. Same day as Jacob's execution — pact with Lucy: stay out of 2nd war if Lucy helps find Val. 100,000-year mortal-plane Gate search — never found Val; ArchAngel → peak Cherub — only Known Angel who ranked up in that window. Did not occur on Present.

Future bloodline
